Swapnil Vaidya, MD, PhD, or Dr. V, as his patients call him, is a highly trained and experienced physician focused on providing asthma, allergy, and immunology care to patients of all ages. Along with the team at Advanced Allergy & Asthma Associates in Fort Worth and Southlake, Texas, Dr. Vaidya focuses on the management of respiratory allergies, food allergies, asthma, insect stings, allergen immunotherapy, eczema, and other allergy disorders.
Dr. Vaidya completed medical school at Nagpur University in Nagpur, India, before moving on to the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas, to complete his doctorate in Immunology. Dr. Vaidya then completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Following his education and training, Dr. Vaidya was deeply involved in research - designing, and conducting numerous clinical trials seeking new treatments for allergic conditions in his role as associate director of a clinical research group at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Vaidya published many research papers during this time, as well as taught medical students at UCSF, earning him the recognition and a nomination for a teaching award.
Dr. Vaidya holds board-certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He has earned numerous awards and recognitions throughout his career and is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and the Texas Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society, among others.
During his free time, Dr. Vaidya enjoys reading, making guitars, playing music, and spending time with family and friends.
With a combination of expert training and a patient-centered approach to care, Dalia Galicia, MD, is a valued member of the Advanced Allergy & Asthma Associates team serving the community of Fort Worth and Southlake, Texas. Dr. Galicia is well-versed in many aspects of allergy and immunology care, including hives, eczema, nasal allergies, asthma, allergen immunotherapy, and many more.
A Texas native, Dr. Galicia attended the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, Texas, where she completed her Bachelor of Science. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Galicia earned her medical degree at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, before moving on to Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas, for her residency in internal medicine. Dr. Galicia then returned to Baylor College of Medicine for her Allergy/Immunology fellowship.
Dr. Garcia is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She is a member of the Texas Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society. She is fluent in Spanish.
When she is not working, Dr. Galicia loves spending time with her husband and two children, as well as running.
Kellie Vaidya, MPH, PA-C is a Texas native, but has lived in several places including Alaska, Arkansas, California, and Japan. Kellie’s broad background, training, and compassionate approach to patient care has made her well-respected with both her patients and colleagues alike.
Kellie attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences and minored in Biomedical Anthropology. Following her undergraduate studies, Kellie completed a Masters in Public Health with a specialization in health behavior and health education at the Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health in Little Rock, Arkansas. Kellie then served as a clinical research coordinator at several prestigious institutions, including the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston Geriatric Department, the University of California, San Francisco Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Department, and the Baylor Scott & White Hospital - Temple Infectious Disease Department.
Kellie then continued her education by completing the University of North Texas Health Science Center physician assistant program in Fort Worth, Texas. During her time at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Kellie took part in studies in Malawi, Africa, to gain further knowledge of infectious diseases. She also served as the student director and a board member for the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and was nominated for the Dean's Award for Scholarly Excellence.
Before joining Advanced Allergy & Asthma Associates, Kellie worked in internal medicine for several years. When she is not working, Kellie enjoys running, learning new languages, and traveling.
Kellie is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the Pi Alpha National Honor Society, the national honor society for physician assistants.
